Gynecologist consultation, new case
Medical Exam & Evaluation Comprehensive
Service Description
Our gynecology consultations at iO Clinic offer personalized and comprehensive care for women's health needs. Here's what to expect during your consultation: What's Included: Comprehensive Medical History: Your gynecologist will begin by taking a detailed medical history, including information about your menstrual cycle, past gynecological issues, sexual history, and any relevant medical conditions. Physical Examination: A thorough physical examination, including a pelvic exam, may be performed to assess your reproductive organs' health and detect any abnormalities. Diagnostic Tests: If necessary, your gynecologist may recommend diagnostic tests such as Pap smears, HPV testing, STI screenings, ultrasound imaging, or blood tests to further evaluate your condition. Treatment and Management: Based on your medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic test results, your gynecologist will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to address your specific concerns. This may include medication management, lifestyle recommendations, or referrals to specialists for further evaluation or treatment. Preventive Care: Your gynecologist will provide guidance on preventive care measures such as contraception, family planning, cervical cancer screening, breast health, and menopause management to help you maintain optimal reproductive health. How to Prepare: Menstrual Cycle Timing: Unless there is an acute condition requiring immediate attention (e.g., severe pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding), we recommend scheduling your gynecology appointment on the 5th to 7th day of your menstrual cycle. This timing allows for optimal evaluation of your reproductive health. Medical History: Before your appointment, gather any relevant medical records, including previous gynecological test results, surgical history, and a list of current medications. Symptom Documentation: Take note of any specific symptoms or concerns you have been experiencing, including changes in your menstrual cycle, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, or unusual discharge. Comfortable Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing to your appointment, as you may undergo a physical examination, including a pelvic exam. Questions: Prepare a list of questions or topics you would like to discuss with your gynecologist during your appointment to ensure that all your concerns are addressed.
